So its been a while...

I haven't been diligently keeping up with my blog the last few months and here are a few big fat excuses:

October - Sold our house. Moved downtown. Refreshing change, more convenient and more temporary. Raging wanderlust and a fear of suburbia led me to find home ownership to be overrated.

Left: I appreciated the overall awesomeness, not to mention timeliness (movie released in 1986), of this Crocodile Dundee air freshener I saw in a random parked car...but was immediately concerned and curious as to what the scent was like.

November - Lots of unpacking, weekend road trips and the beginning

of the holiday madness in retail.

The scene on the right was documented on above mentioned road trip. One guy was demonstrating his prowess with nun chucks as another dude filmed him, using I-35 as a stellar backdrop for the shot. Real cool.

December - Full on crazy holiday at work outfitting lots of ladies for lots of parties, but rarely having the energy to go to any of my own. Unseasonably wintry in Austin, crazy to have an actual season. Then a relaxing Christmas with the fam at the beach.

Left: what I really wanted for Christmas. Did you know they can be personalized via airbrush? There was a binder full of options...made me say Uuuuggggh.

January - A new year, new opportunities, exciting freelance work, a renewed optimism, goals and determination. Can't wait to see what the future holds...I've got my iPhone camera ready.
